1. Introduction
Welcome to Roster.Plus (“Roster.Plus”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Roster.Plus is a cloud-based workforce scheduling and employee rostering platform provided as a subscription software service.
By accessing or using the Roster.Plus platform, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the service.
If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Service Description
Roster.Plus provides online workforce scheduling, employee rostering, shift management, and related organisational tools.
The service is delivered exclusively as a hosted SaaS (Software as a Service) platform.
We do not provide consulting services, employment services, staffing services, or custom software development as part of standard subscriptions.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials,
- all activity occurring under your account,
- ensuring information provided is accurate and up to date.
You agree not to:
- share accounts improperly,
- access systems without authorization,
- interfere with platform security or operation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the pricing plan selected at the time of purchase.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing through our payment provider.
Prices may change in the future, but changes will not affect active billing periods already paid.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically generate refunds for previous billing periods unless otherwise required by law or stated in our Refund Policy.
6. Free Tier
Roster.Plus may provide a free usage tier with limited features or usage limits.
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time.
Users of the free tier remain subject to these Terms of Service.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- violate laws or regulations,
- infringe intellectual property rights,
- distribute malware or harmful software,
- attempt unauthorized access,
- interfere with service operation,
- upload unlawful or abusive content.
We may suspend accounts engaged in prohibited activity.
8. Customer Data
You retain ownership of data uploaded to the platform.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload and manage employee or organisational data within the platform.
9. Availability
We aim to provide reliable service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Scheduled maintenance, updates, outages, or third-party failures may occasionally affect availability.
10. Intellectual Property
Roster.Plus, including its software, branding, interface, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws.
No ownership rights are transferred to users.
You may not:
- copy,
- reverse engineer,
- resell,
- distribute,
- modify,
- or exploit the platform except as explicitly permitted.
11. Third-Party Services
The platform may integrate with third-party services or providers.
We are not responsible for third-party products, services, uptime, or policies.
Use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roster.Plus shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential damages,
- lost profits,
- lost business opportunities,
- data loss,
- service interruptions.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Roster.Plus during the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the service will meet all business requirements or operate without interruption.
14. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- these Terms are violated,
- payment obligations are not met,
- misuse or abuse is detected,
- required by law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the service after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
